New Position – Pathway Development Officer

WELCOME SOFTBALL SA’s NEW PATHWAY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

On behalf of Softball SA, I am pleased to announce Morgan Young has been appointed to the role of Pathways Development Officer (PDO).

This newly created position is responsible for overseeing and developing pathways for players and coaches in sub-elite to high performance programs in order to improve on-field performance and the overall results of all our national teams here in South Australia.

Morgan brings to the role proven experience in developing young athletes that includes coaching at both regional and national softball championships, coordinating and running the South Australian Battery program, as well as working with Australian Rules football clubs and athletes in a similar role and running his own physical training business, the Strength and Movement Clinic. Morgan is also a product of the Dragons coaching program.

Softball SA would like to acknowledge the high calibre of applicants that applied to fill this role and thank the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) for being an active and independent party in the selection process. Their experience and expertise were critical in finding the best person for this role and ensuring a fair and thorough selection process was undertaken.
